Low Carb Weight Loss Plateau on Keto Diet

  • It’s not natural to lose weight our bodies want to hold on to fat especially for us women typically
  • The problem is that you’re not getting enough protein in, and you’re probably not eating enough because we get busy. Let’s admit it women- were we’re busy beavers were going 24/7.
  • I’m probably down about three more so that’s probably about that thirty pounds total.

everyone at Chantelle and I’m here with a little weight loss update on overcoming my stall how I didn’t really lose weight the last month the way I wanted to but how I’ve been able to overcome that now and this is an inversion table behind me I’m cleaning out my massage room so it’s a little chaotic in my living room right now so ignore that um I think if you guys can tell I’ve lost more weight in my cheeks I’m a lot thinner here in my face if you can tell so anyways I want to talk about weight loss stalls because we all have them I went through one for about four weeks and the first week was kind of like alright that’s okay you know you kind of let it go and then the next week was like alright I’m losing inches so that’s fine we’re okay by the third week I was getting kind of irritated and then by the fourth week I was mad and by the fifth week I was feeling like I give up like this is enough so I kind of had to you know dig in I thought no no you need to figure out what’s going on here what are you doing and when I looked at it first what I tried to do is I got busy so I started eating less and then that wasn’t working so then I thought maybe I need to exercise more and so I started working out but then by that last week I kind of had that like mental clicked on like Chantal you’ve done this in the past like this has never worked for you what are you doing and that’s when I was like time to regroup we’ve got to figure this out and so here’s what I did when I did some thinking first of all it’s not a natural state to lose weight a stall is not a horrible thing because it means your body is maintaining you’re not going up so keep positive keep moving on it will make you respond differently to your weight loss second of all with that that it’s not natural to lose weight our bodies want to hold on to fat especially for us women typically the pro is that you’re not getting enough protein in and you’re probably not eating enough because we get busy let’s admit it women were we’re busy beavers were going 24/7 I don’t always take the time to do what I need to do for me I try and take care of everyone else first so by realizing that eating scares me because I associate it with weight gain but that’s not necessarily true so I kind of had to look at it and I realized I was eating like half of what I was eating when I started this diet and I knew that that was probably my problem I checked the carbs that hadn’t really run into it so if you are having trouble check how many carbs you’re having if you’re sneaking in sugars if you’re cheating then it’s the cheating but usually what you’re doing or if you’re cheating it’s probably cuz you’re not feeding yourself enough you know if you’re hungry you need to eat so when I looked at it and I came to terms came to grips I said okay you have to eat more you have to and this was like counterintuitive it really really bugged me view this by said you know it can’t hurt City get that out of your mouth sorry my dog found a plastic wrapper that she decided to try and ingest anyways what you’re doing with the protein so for example I’m at that time of the month and I typically go up weight and so I was having some cravings but I decided you know what you need to eat so what’s crazy is this is all I ate in one day I had coffee with one ounce of cream so that’s like 50 calories maybe a hundred I didn’t measure it out exactly I had a hundred calories of oatmeal that had 16 grams of protein in it because I had whey protein then I was hungry so I had a hard-boiled egg for a snack then I did seaweed salad a little bit later then I was hungry again so I had another hard-boiled egg and then I had to hold chicken like quarters with the bone in so they were probably six ounces really a protein apiece so I had 12 ounces of protein and I believe I had salad with that I didn’t write it down sorry but I had some kind of vegetable I always have vegetable with my food and then I did end up giving into a cookie because my family was eating them so I had one cookie and I was a little upset about that but ate it anyways and I was still hungry so then I had 200 calories with 16 ounces of protein in my chocolate puffs oh and then I had another meal shake too and that was on our calories with 16 grams of protein in each of those and then later I was hungry before bed saw 8 another 8 when I woke up the next day I had lost three pounds how does that work well it works Oh first of all I have to say thank you guys for watching my videos your guys’s comments just encouraged me so much I really appreciate you guys I just it really makes my day really makes me keep wanting to do these videos but what happens with your body is that your body is going to start to eat its own protein because it needs protein if you’re not giving it enough protein your body’s going into it’s protein stores and you’re not getting into your fat and you’re feeling bloated and fluidy because your body’s trying to eat its own muscle that’s what was going on and then working out just made it worse and then I wasn’t eating because it’s trying to lose more weight so I was digging in my muscle mass trying to eat more and then my body was freaking out so now I’ve decided to go back to eating if I’m hungry I need to eat I had to wake up in the middle of the night last night it was 3:00 in the morning and my stomach was growling and I was like okay so I got up and had a hard-boiled egg and I was like you know I gave it a couple minutes to be like am i full no am I good you know that’s like 60 70 calories right there because I feel off probably half the egg you know sometimes I do know the tricks for how I should do a trick on how to make hard-boiled eggs I and the hard boy boiled egg Queen but that will be another video I will do that for you guys because it really helps to know how to boil an egg right it really really helps um so that’s what I did now all of a sudden I’m dropping weight the last couple days you can see it in my face big time and I’m not feeling bloated and the weight is just pulling off so if you’re having trouble if you hit your stall it’s not a bad thing you just have to like shake it loose you know when something’s kind of stuck is you kind of just poke and prod until it falls so make sure you’re not cheating make sure you’re not binging make sure you’re getting enough protein and make sure if you’re hungry that you’re actually eating enough cuz that is huge and then your water intake and you’re probably going to jump right off of that stall so probably down five pounds will probably almost down exactly thirty now and I haven’t even had my weigh-in weigh-ins Tuesday so we’ll see you around down there but all sudden my baby baby sorry my brain today all of a sudden all that weight is bringing down like three times faster than what I’ve been doing it was maybe one to two pounds a week for a little bit and now I dropped the to this last week with my little last video I know I’m probably down about three more so that’s probably about that thirty pounds total so I hope that makes sense to you guys I hope this
